Revaz Beridze - Managing Partner
Mr. Beridze is a lead counsel in the firm’s transport, commercial and procurement law practices. He has over 12 years of experience working with government, international and private organizations, such as USAID, World Bank, European Union, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, National Transport Regulatory Commission and Poti Sea Port, among others. He has participated in international professional development courses in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, UK, Canada, Japan, Greece and Egypt, and is today one of the few legal experts on the subjects of procurement and maritime law in Georgia.
Mr. Beridze has been a key figure in carrying out multi-million projects, such as the USAID Georgia Business Climate Reform project and the EU-funded transport management projects, and in developing significant legislative reforms, including Law on Pharmaceuticals, Tax and Customs Codes, Law on Registration of Rights in Immoveable Property, and the Global Financial Initiative. For the last several years, Mr. Beridze has been a respondent to World Bank Doing Business Survey.
Prior to becoming a partner with Eristavi Law Group, Mr. Beridze was the Deputy Chairman of the State Procurement Agency of Georgia.
